Spherical Light has its conceptual origin in a sculpture from 1968 whose architectural development took place in 2010 at the CCB in Lisbon with the “Escultura Habitável”. The anthropomorphic assumptions that underlie this sculpture were made explicit in terms of design, first in the spherical shape of the Seat Spherical and now in the Spherical Light where its scale allows it again a sculptural handicraft.
